We have all been to McDonald's at one time in our lives. With its very recognizable golden arches, McDonald's restaurants seem to be almost everywhere. While we know what McDonald's is and what they serve, we may not realize why the fast food chain has come to be such a prominent image in our society today. Great tasting cheap food is certainly the foundation for its success, but perhaps it's what happens behind the scenes that has helped the restaurant continue to be successful year after year. In this lesson, we will take a look at the leadership practices that McDonald's employs in order to take average employees and transform them into great employees.

| How MCD look long long time ago. What is leadership?.In this sense leadership is is the process of motivating others to accomplish tasks. In other words, a good leader can help guide employees so that they successfully complete their work. At McDonald's, leadership goes beyond the managers and is expected to trickle down to each and every employee. This means everyone that works for McDonald's should possess some sort of leadership skills and work to help other McDonald's employees do their jobs well.  The CEO of MCD!! THis guy showed some leardership skill in the process of up bringing of MCD and crew. Not every employee is motivated by the same thing. That being said, McDonald's has come to realize that each segment may need a different type of motivation to help their employees be successful. For example, cashiers may need to be motivated by adding an extra 10 minutes to their break so that they can rest their feet a bit, while those cooking might be motivated by the option of getting a free sandwich if they are the most productive employee during the shift.  One of the most delicious, easiest, moderate price fast food in the world. |
