Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima.Nope,i am not talking about Cristiano Ronaldo this time.Arguably the best striker of his time,the Brazilian superstar was a sensation when playing at the highest level.It is no surprised he was nicknamed `The Phenomenon`.He dazzled passed defenders with the ball glued to his feet.His sincere smile and passion for football was always clearly visible on the field.This made him a favorite amongst fans from all over the world.He is the only player to have played in clubs where there is great rivalry between them.He has played for Real Madrid & Barcelona in the Spanish La Liga and in the Italian Serie` A, he has played for Inter Milan & AC Milan.Despite the arch rivalry between both the players and fans of each club,Ronaldo has always been adored and loved by football fans all across the globe.You just cannot hate the man!

It was very heartbreaking as a football fan when Ronaldo retired in 2011.After an illustrious and fruitful career it was time to say goodbye.He was given a farewell match by Brazil given what he has contributed to the country`s football team (winning 2 World Cups of course).There might be players like Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo now, but there wont ever be another RONALDO!
