Few years back. I went to Kathmandu, the largest city and capital of Nepal. This city is surrounded with four major mountains known as Shivapuri, Phulchoki, Nagarjun and Chandragiri. This place is famous as a hub for independent travellers as well as vacation spots for nature lover.

As you descend to the airport of Kathmandu, you can see clearly the peak of Everest as shown above. I will 'payung' you some pictures of us at Nagarkot, one of the place we visit. It is situated 28 km from Kathmandu and this place is famous for its Himalayan views. It took us around one hour an a half to reach the top of Nagarkot from our hotel by taxi.

Nagarkot is a great place for active, energetic and self conscious traveller as it offers a panoramic hiking trail. Perfect to enjoy the stunning mountain views of the Himalayan with the presence of fresh mountain air.

This is place is also known for a sunrise view of the Himalayas including Mount Everest as well as other peaks of the Himalayan. At the height of 2000 m above sea level, road to the top of Nagarkot is almost similar to the one in Genting Highland in Malaysia. A lot of green sceneries along the way.
