Ini London bukan Londang (Naqib,Bildip,Fifi)
Good day Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and gays. This is my first time writing a blog and I am posting about a trip of mine and my ship mate back when I clock my sea time at sea. So somewhere between Nov 2015 and April 2016 (which is the duration of my contract), I cant remember when, me and few of my mates went to the City of London or is also known as 'The Square Mile' (fun fact).
(Pic was taken in front of Buckingham Palace)
After a careful negotiation made with other Deck Cadets and my Chief Mate, it finally ends with a sweet deal where I can leave my burden to the other cadets and freely lift my ass off to London. We arrive at Port of Southampton early somewhere around half past three in the morning, the time when my duty almost ends (wink2). Me and my Fourth Engineer named Paresh (sit in the middle in the above pic) went out from the ship first at 8 in the morning and took a train from Southampton station to Waterloo station. It took us 1 hour 30 min to reach Waterloo. Cant remember whats the ticket cost us but it should be somewhere around 30 pounds.
Being a typical Malaysian, it is a must for us to take a selfie. Above is the picture of me and Paresh arrived at London Waterloo. The others join us couple of hours after we arrived. Even though we have not much time here, we manage to sight some of London great view.
This is picture of mine taken with Mr. Ben. By the way, the clock tower which people called as 'Big Ben' is not actually named as Big Ben. The tower is named as 'The Elizabeth Tower' and 'Big Ben' is actually the name of the bell inside the clock tower not the whole tower itself. Your mind is fucked for a few seconds isn't it? So do mine when I first read the story behind it.
I lost the picture of mine taken with the London Bridge but here is the glimpse of the bridge which is stretched over Thames River
Although it looks like some sort of a Boy Band trying to pose for a cover album, it is definitely not. This picture is taken in front of the 'Buckingham Palace', the place where you can see Queen's soldier with a furry long hat roaming around guarding the Palace.
Aaaaaannnd that's about it. I arrived at ship somewhere around quarter to midnight to start my duty for four cold and windy hours and yet people still think that seaman's life is fun. JK. So that's all niggas. Toodles!
