It is often said that dog is a man's best friend. They possess of all the qualities that we look for in a companion. They are loyal, caring , and enthusiastic. They are not easily offended as human, rude or mean as some people could be.
Having a dog companion is almost the same as human companion without the constant work or effort for interaction. They could be good listener and listen to us talking for hours without any complain . and at times make us wonder do they really understood to what we were talking. Furthermore, when we feel sad and there's no one to lay down with , dogs are good at distracting us from our feelings by entertaining or by just playing fetch with them, we are automatically forgotten about our sadness and somehow makes us happy again.

When sometimes I'm having a rough week and head back home for the weekend, by standing in front of the gate of my house, my dogs would be rushing through the house door and start jumping around as they excited to see me. I don't know who is more excited to see me is it my dogs or my parents. It's an instant self esteem boost to know someone was missing me while I'm gone.

The loyalty you find in a dog is incomparable to that anyone else, a bond that is created genuine and unique. It's as though they could understand our feelings and sense when something is not right with us. This is something that cannot be found in any other pets for that matter.
The mutual love between an owner and a dog is truly special and everyone should get the chance of experiencing the unique bond that comes with living with a canine companion.
