2nd Nov- Diwali is just not over for us. My
cousins and and friends plan for a day and a night trip too Cameron highlands.
The plan was already confirmed Monday night after the stay in Rasa Sayang. All of us woke up early in the morning and set
to Cameron highlands. Since it was gonna be a quiet a journey we never stopped
anywhere in Penang, we took the highway and went for our destination to cut
down our travelling time.
On the way, we tested the car’s max capability because that
saga flx we took was never drove at such highway and such speed before. The car
was just fine. By the time we reach half to Cameron we stopped by at the
nearest r&r and had a quick breakfast and refueled the car. After having a
good breakfast, we continued our journey again. Feeling energized after a break
at the r&r, the car was filled with laughter and us singing and joking
around. That’s when I relieved the craziness of us, Hahaha!!
When we were almost reach our destinatons, we began to feel
the natural cold air. We brought down all the wind screen of the car and
switched off the air-conditioner and feel the natural cold air.
Once we reached Cameron highlands, we set straight to the
famous barath’s tea plantation and had a good masala tea before going to our hotel.
After that, we took pictures of the scenery and enjoyed the view of tea
plantation. All of the sudden rain started to pour, its about time for
check-in. Therefore we went to the Capthrone
hotel and check in. We requested for highest floor to have a good
overall view of the highland.
Later we fresh up and had a break before having our lunch at
the nearby indian shop. After our meal, we began our shopping and sight seeing.
Walking along the road where shops are abundant. Found ourself confused what to
take. Then, we went to the strawberry farm at the high ground. Had a taste of
the strawberry with chocolate and other types of dishes too.
After having those juicy and taste of strawberries, we visit
the strawberry farm just nearby and took pictures. It was cool to see all those
strawberries hanging out from their plant. The farm was so green made us feel refreshing
and relaxed. Walking and picturing around the farm got us tired so we headed
back to hotel to have a good rest.
After having good rest, all of us get dressed and went for
dinner at Abang Steamboat&Grill. Variety of food was there. We filled out
table with all the food and began cooking and grilling. As for me, I’m bad at
cooking so I just do the eating and my lovely cousin to do the cooking. Cold
air, night, food and with friends, the level of satisfaction I had that day has
no word to describe. After not being with family for deepawali holiday last
three year made me miss them more. But today, we had whole lot of fun together.
We end the day watching movie back in our hotel till early morning next day. Then, woke in the morning and went for a shopping again in famous market where plants, strawberry, gifts and other things are sold. We spend some time there buying things and gifts to bring back home. Later, we left Cameron in the noon to tambun for some souvenir purchase nearby before head back home.
