Universal Studio Singapore

February 2016, i was onboard LNG Puteri Nilam Satu. I was almost completing my required sea time of a year. She was destined for drydocking in keppel shipyard, Singapore. 

During the drydocking of the vessel, the officer,engineers and crew had a good chance to go for shore leave every evening after all works has been completed or temporarily stop for the day.

One day, captain suggested the all officers and engineers to go on an fun evening instead of going around malls and food stalls hunting goods and foods. Therefore the officers and engineers decided to goto the universal studio singapore(USS). I was really excited to join them as i never been to USS before.

Since we need the whole day to enjoy our time at the USS captain made two teams so that one can stay and continue with the ongoing work and the other can go for the fun day at USS.i was in the second team. That was actually a plan, because after the first group has came back would tell us the things that we should not miss going. With that the members of second group had planned well to enjoy the day together.

 

8th march, was the day captain had planned the USS trip for the second group. We depart from the ship in the morning, with the arranged transport by the agent we made our way to the universal studio Singapore. On arrival first thing first, we took picture and selfie before entering the uss. After that all of get ourself tickets to enter and ready for THE RIDE.

The first ride with took was the transformer’s battle ride. Its was so realistic and fun and it got us so interested. We ride almost five times on that ride, it was just that of a hardcore type of of fun. 

At a point we realised that with the normal tickets which we had in hand take sus quiet some time to wait for our turn before even getting a ride. Therefore, the engineers and officer shared money to upgrade out tickets to universal, which makes the ticket holder the VIP of the day, which we get to ride without  waiting by bypassing the others. Only than the real fun started, all of us keep going for all kinds of rides, games and sight seeing. Not a second was wasted. 

By 2pm in the afternoon we had almost finished all the available rides and we were very hungry, so we stopped at a indoor food stall within the universal studio and filled our tummy or yummy food. After having lunch, we continued sight seeing first before we get in the games again.

Later on, again we went for all the rides before we leave. The day was well spent and i had maximumfun. In the late evening, all of us left the USS and make out way out to the nearest night market by train. Once reach the spot, again we had out dinner together and had some good time chit chatting about the day in the USS and sharing the fun experiences before we make our way back to our ship. It was afun day indeed!!

Well the day of fun was finally over and we had to be back for work the next day.
